Production of seamless steel pipes
Seamless pipes are manufactured at the “Azerboru” production site in Sumgayit from pipe billets produced at the Baku Steel Company ESMS.
Pipes are produced using the technology of billet hot piercing on the TPA-250 pipe rolling mill, upgraded in 2013. The enterprise also includes sections for the production of casing pipes with the application of various types of threads on pipes and the production of couplings on modern equipment manufactured by EMAG and Danobat. The connection of couplings and pipes takes place on the automated production complex manufactured by Lazzari. The new ultrasonic testing complex for pipes of the Nordenkraft Company allows full control of the quality of manufactured products.
The current production capacity of the plant is 60,000 tons of seamless casing pipes per year, as well as general-purpose pipes, ranging in size from Ø 114 to 245 mm. The company is currently carrying out a project to modernize and expand the production capacity of the enterprise to 120,000 tons per year, as well as as well as implements the project of mastering the production of pump-compressor pipes.
