Aleksandre Phopkhadze studied Sculpture at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in Georgia. Having participated in numerous exhibitions and symposiums across Europe and Asia, with “Baku Steel Art 2024” marking his first project in Baku. As part of the “Baku Steel Art 2024” metal symposium, Aleksandre Phopkhadze created the sculpture titled “The Sun and The Moon”:
“The idea behind this piece is to depict the journey of the Sun and Moon across space. For me, the symposium is an opportunity to learn about new developments in a country I admire, meet new friends, gain experience, establish connections, and create a new sculpture.”
