Clean Energy Jabrayil LLC and Baku Steel Company CJSC (hereafter BSC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on a solar power project aimed at supplying renewable energy to BSC via the central grid network.

The project, which involves the development of a 100 MW solar power plant in the Soltanli village of Jabrayil, is split into two parts: Shams and Horizon solar stations, each with a 50 MW capacity. The solar power generated will be used to meet the energy needs of the local manufacturing sector.

The project will be developed by two dedicated investment vehicles, Enerso by Nobel Energy and Clean Energy Jabrayil by Clean Energy Investment LLC, both of which are committed to driving green energy initiatives.

This partnership underscores the shared commitment of both parties to support Azerbaijan's green energy transition strategy and contribute to the country's sustainable development goals.
