• Square billets

Square billets produced by Baku Steel Company CJSC and used for the fabrication of construction rebars are fabricated on the four-strand radial continuous casting machine. We produce square billets with cross sections of 125х125, and 150x150, and lengths in the range of 3,000-12,000 mm.

 

• Round billets

Baku Steel Company CJSC has been producing continuous casting round billets for seamless pipes used in the oil and gas industry since 2021. The plant produces high-quality billets with a diameter range of 130, 160, 170, 190, and 220 mm and in lengths defined by the customer, in accordance with GOST 34636-2020, DIN 17100-89, EN 10025-2004 standards.

• Cross-sectional area 100x100 mm, 120x120 mm, 125x125 mm, 130x130 mm, 150x150 mm,

• Its length is 6000-12000mm and it is produced according to ГOST380-2005, TŞAZ 3098830-02-2001 Standards.

What is billet?

Steel billets are semi-finished products used in steel production. They are created by the process of pouring molten steel into a rectangular or square shape. After pouring into these molds, they are allowed to cool so that they harden thoroughly. After this process, they are formed into a solid, rod-shaped piece of steel.
